While shopping for a hostess gift at my most favorite shop, Madison, in Dallas (a must-visit!), I pranced over to admire their wall of ornate and exquisite monogram styles. From traditional to contemporary to elegantly elaborate, Madison truly takes the cake when it comes to mastering the art of personalization and they have a cult following to prove it. Of course this inspired me, as I’m endlessly charmed by magnificent monograms and so I wanted to share some with you, my dearest readers. Do you have a favorite? Enjoy!
Dearest readers, I’m so thrilled you adored my first Thanksgiving menu, and with loads of palate pleasing recipes out there, I decided to create a secondary menu! This menu still features the traditional Thanksgiving treats we all crave, however mixes things up a bit with sweet potatoes kissed by orange zest and a pecan pie that rivals perfection. With two delectable MBB Thanksgiving menus, how will you choose?
I’m beyond elated to share today’s post! I’d like to introduce you to a fabulous friend of mine, Brittany Deal. As inspiring as she is charming, this California based entrepreneur recently launched Savvy Girl, a “go-to” and trusted source for rich yet concise knowledge on the topics modern women care about – we don’t need to be experts, we just need to be savvy! Did your ears perk up a little bit?
Light, fun, and fast reads, Savvy Girl books will make you savvy on relevant subjects yet can be finished over the course of a weekend. The first guide in this sensational series is Savvy Girl: A Guide to Wine – too perfect for words for those of you looking to start a girls night book club or in search of a darling hostess gift (paired with your favorite bottle of vino)! Featuring yours truly as an etiquette expert, it houses everything you need to know about wine, from how to taste, talk about, buy, and enjoy it. Attending a dinner party with a wine connoisseur and you know nothing about the grape? Not to worry, pore over this book and you’ll be as good as gorgeous gold!
While this platter would be a splurge, you would use it every holiday season, and could even lovingly pass it down to your children. Topped with appetizers for a party, or freshly baked Christmas cookies, this platter is on my wish list!
