Sunday nights have become that much more special since we instated the Sunday Supper tradition (inspired by cherished childhood dinners at my grandmother’s home)! In the spirit of Tex-Mex cuisine, I’m making Goop’s glorious braised mexican chicken with the help of my stainless steel sous chef, aka my trusty slow-cooker. Absolutely delicious and easy-peasy to prepare (the slow-cooker does the cooking for you!) this flavorful dish will fill your home with a rich and fragrant blend of peppers, garlic and tomatoes, and is even fabulous the next day. I’ll be pairing it with a fresh guacamole salad and whipping up cinnamon sugar kissed churros with velvety chocolate sauce for a decadent dessert. Cheers to the weekend ahead!
